Kevin Devine announces first three editions of Devinyl Splits! series

Kevin Devine has announced details of the first three editions of his brand new six-part split single series.

The series, which comes cleverly titled Devinyl Splits!, will be made up of six separates releases over the next twelve months. The first edition of the series will be released in February, with the subsequent splits landing in April and June.

Released on 24th February, the first split sees Nada Surf’s Matthew Caws teaming up with Devine to each before covers of one another’s songs: Caws will rework Devine’s ‘Fiscal Cliff’, while Devine takes on the Nada Surf hit ‘Inside of Love’.

The next two splits in the series will see Devine joining forces with Perfect Pussy’s Mereditch Graves and Tigers Jaw, while the final three 7” releases are set to be announced later this year.

Devine has also announced three upcoming UK shows, including a stint at this year’s Great Escape festival. He’ll play two shows at London’s St Pancras Church, the first of which will see him play tracks for his first four albums, while the second night will play host to his more recent full-lengths.
