L.A. newcomer HANA shares new Blood Diamonds produced track ‘Avalanche’

L.A.-based newcomer HANA has shared a track titled ‘Avalanche’.

Teaming up with producer Blood Diamonds, the new song follows HANA’s debut track ‘Clay’, which was shared in May this year. Since her debut, HANA’s joined Lana Del Rey and Grimes for the former’s Endless Summer tour.

Speaking to Nylon about ‘Avalanche’, HANA says that the song is about her “inability to say no and learning about becoming a more assertive person.” Lyrically HANA cuts the icy and sparse beats by delivering lines that relate to objectification and expectation: “I’ll sit and be pretty while I learn to be the one to yell no, scream no.”
