Låpsley airs new video for ‘Painter (Valentine)’

Liverpool-based producer Låpsley was one of the standout names on BBC’s Introducing Stage at Glastonbury 2014, bringing her early, experimental productions to life in the biggest setting yet. Today she releases her debut album, ‘Station’ and ‘Painter (Valentine)’, with the latter track gaining a new video directed by Harvey Pearson.

The clip sees Holly Lapsley Fletcher starring alongside a “painter” friend, with the video appearing to document the ins and outs of their friendship. There’s no strict time-structure - the highs and the lows seem to overlap in random order, and it makes for a compelling watch.
