Lana Del Rey guests on new Emile Haynie track, ‘Wait For Life’
Song features on Haynie’s solo debut.
A new Emile Haynie track featuring Lana Del Rey, ‘Wait For Life’, is streaming now.
Taken from the producer’s solo album, this isn’t the first time the two have collaborated on material. Haynie produced Lana’s debut album, plus the ‘Paradise’ EP.
With a new Lana Del Rey album anticipated for later this year (it’s called ‘Honeymoon’), the track links up with woozy highlights from 2014’s ‘Ultraviolence’ LP, all deft pianos and hard-hitting lyrics like “why you make me take that shit, to put on an evening show.”
Last week Haynie unveiled another solo cut, with guest spots arriving from Sampha, Dev Hynes and Charlotte Gainsbourg.
Nine songs are written for Lana Del Rey’s new album, she claimed at the beginning of this year.
