Laura Welsh and Ang Low become LauraxAng for ‘Lifeline’

Promising newcomers from London and New York combine on their debut collaboration.

Here’s something that’s come out of the blue. Laura Welsh - a London songwriter with Dev Hynes and Rhye’s Robin Hannibal collaborations under her belt - and Ang Low - a NYC producer with head-turning pop numbers up his sleeve - have combined. They’re calling themselves LauraxAng, which doesn’t have a brilliant ring to it, but bear with us - their debut collaborative track ‘Lifeline’ is a pristine, sunset-accompanying number that’s worth paying attention to.

Welsh brings her customary bittersweet set of emotions, whereas Ang Low’s driving the track in stranger directions, applying flickering synth lines and reaching dangerously high notes all at once.

Catch up with standouts from both respective musicians: Ang Low’s ‘Life Goes Down’ EP and Laura Welsh’s recent ‘Break the Fall’ single.
