Les Sins’ ‘Why’ soundtracks dancing in the streets for new video

In splintered, scatterbrained form, Chaz Bundick’s debut Les Sins LP is one of the most danceable of the year. Countless strands of dance are absorbed and projected into the smooth aesthetic best reminiscent of Chaz’s main project, Toro Y Moi.

For a new ‘Why’ video, his ‘Michael’ highlight sees guest vocalist Nate Salman parading the streets in an acid wash, inverted coloured parallel universe. Bundick meanwhile arrives in puppet form, stop-start motion-ing his way through the track like a slightly creepy fly on the wall. Nate’s having the time of his life, though.

‘Michael’ is out now on Carpark / Company - read the DIY review here.

Catch up with Les Sins’ equally batshit video for ‘Bother’, featuring a future Oscar-winning blimp.
