LIFE get abrasive on new track ‘Ba Ba Ba’

The Hull rabble deliver another slice of ferocious punk from ‘Popular Music.’

Hull punks LIFE are set to release their debut album ‘Popular Music on 26th May, and after sharing ‘In Your Hands,’ they’re back with another thunderous slice of what to expect. Recently talking about the upcoming debut album, vocalist Mez Sanders-Green said that the record sounds like “panic and anxiety, it’s the sound of shitting it about whatever happens next week, about what you can weigh through on the self-checkout to get your beans cheaper. It’s an LP made up of the psyche of everyone who can see they’re getting fucked and there’s a lot of people getting fucked right now.” Well, ‘Ba Ba Ba’ certainly sounds like a band venting a whole load of repressed feelings in one short, blistering dose. Mile-a-minute guitars, equally rapid drum clashing and Mez’s unrestrained, uninhibited and almost cathartic vocals combine to form a blast of unfiltered, abrasive punk-rock. If you needed any more proof that LIFE aren’t sheep following the crowd, this is it. Listen to ‘Ba Ba Ba’ below.
