Listen: Angel Olsen Previews New Album With ‘White Fire’

revealed a third track from her excellent new album ‘Burn Your Fire For No Witness’ LP. First came ‘Forgiven/Forgotten’, showing off a newly-fledged full-band sound. Then came the strutting ‘Hi-Five’ (arriving with a theatrical video earlier this week) - now’s the turn of ‘White Fire’, a much more dramatic offering from the record.

Built around lightly plucked electric guitars, Angel’s voice is at the core focus of the track (recalling material on her last album ‘Half Way Home’). ‘Everything is tragic / it all just falls apart,’ begins the not exactly sunny-side-up moody number.

The album’s out on 18th February through Jagjaguwar.
