Softly-softly electronics seize the initiative on the Lake District duo’s new track.
Lake District duo AQUILO are approaching the release of their debut EP, out 7th April and featuring the already unveiled ether of a song, ‘You There’.
The pair of Tom Higham and Ben Fletcher have continued down the line of serene, minimal pop songwriting with ‘Part of Your Life’, which focuses on choir-like vocals, only occasionally pierced by sharp electronics. For a song all about the permanence of things, it’s fitting that this’ll be played on repeat for the rest of the year by anybody looking for late-night introspection.
