Listen: Black Lips Stream New Track, ‘Boys In The Wood’
Horn sections, drugs and booze references: It’s a new Black Lips song.

‘Boys in the Wood’ is a song all about drinking whiskey, white lightning, gin and taking throat-splitting shots alongside some more illegal substances.
‘Ain’t nobody foolin’ around,’ barks the chorus of Black Lips’ latest song, and it’s true: This is the Vice-signed group at their scrappy finest, practically rooting itself in a grubby motel room and wrecking the place before they even take a step inside. Grimy overindulgence is coupled with - perhaps surprisingly - a giant, rousing horn section, making every split-second of the band’s intoxication sound like a triumph.
The song’s taken from ‘Underneath the Rainbow’, a new album released on 18th March 2014.
