Listen: Blaue Blume Announce New EP, Stream ‘Lost Sons Of Boys’
Copenhagen group marry doom with clear-headed pop on a take from ‘Beau & Lorette’.

Last year, Denmark group Blaue Blume stirred with a doomy, unorthodox take on what essentially amounted to pop music. Clear-headed but full of tongue-twisting tidbits, they resembled an incarnation of Everything Everything raised by werewolves.
Their new EP ‘Beau & Lorette’ is released this June via Club AC30. Lead track ‘Lost Sons of Boys’ ups the haunting factor. It’s a tale about finding love on Halloween, dodging scarecrows and zombies in its quest for true romance. Darkness resides, but it’s another firm, assured number from a group incapable of missteps.
