Listen: Blessa Preview New EP With ‘Open Fields’
Sheffield dream-poppers recorded their new EP with Hookworms’ MJ - it’s out in June.

Sheffield melodic pop five-piece Blessa have shared a new track from their ‘Love is an Evol Word’ EP.
‘Open Fields’ links together nostalgic guitar parts and sky-reaching synths into a work of sweet embrace. It’s delicate to the touch, capable of splitting open at any moment. But by moving out from an 80s-obsessed routine, it manages to add a sheen to its darling sound, modernising an already immediate take on things.
Blessa’s new EP is out 23rd June on Carmel Records / Generator. The band play Newcastle’s The Cluny (24th May), Leeds’ Gold Sounds (26th May) and London’s The Waiting Room (2nd July).
