Listen: Braids Stream Unreleased Track, ‘Deep Running’

A new track has emerged from Canadian band Braids’s ‘Flourish // Perish’ sessions.

Their second album was released last year via Arbutus Records, and Raphaelle Standell-Preston and co. are currently in the studio working on new material. According to the band’s Facebook, that’s how they ended up stumbling upon ‘Deep Running’, a bass-throbbing, pensive take that never ended up making the cut for LP2. Without wanting to dismiss decision making abilities in the Braids camp, it’s a stellar track, worthy of initial inclusion.
