Listen: CYMBALS Stream New Song ‘Erosion’
Nostalgia gets a new lease of life in track taken from CYMBALS’ ‘The Age of Fracture’.

’ new album ‘The Age of Fracture’ was headed up two weeks back with a tempting, London-centric trailer. What it didn’t hint at, however, was the sheer guts that this returning album fronts.
CYMBALS are known for seven-minute singles, nostalgia trips appearing in the form of juggernauts. This isn’t a visit back to the 80s, it’s a life-long holiday; a witness protection scheme that involves time-travelling.
That’s not to render a track like ‘Erosion’ devoid of its own contemporary charm. This comes in the love/hate London relationship, the genre-bending re-interpretation of pop that defines their work. It’s awfully good, and it’s expressed best in this latest track. Listen below.
