‘Dr Dee’ gets released through Parlophone Records on the 7th May.

Damon Albarn is releasing his brand new album ‘Dr Dee’ and you can now hear another track to be taken from it, ‘The Dancing King’.

To be able to download the song, simply head over to NME.com and you can nab it in exchange for your email address.

Earlier this week, we exclusively gave you an insight into the entire album, with Damon himself guiding you through an audio commentary of the album, which you can hear here.

His new studio album, inspired by the life of John Dee - aka mathematician, polymath and advisor to Elizabeth I - is set to be released through Parlophone Records on the 7th May.

Spending the latter part of 2011 recording in his West London studio, he also spent time working alongside the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra in Salford, before the record was mixed by Valgeir Sigursson in Reykjavik.

Albarn recently showcased songs from his opera at this year’s OneFest, which took place last Saturday (14th April). Read our review of OneFest here.
