News Listen: Eels Stream ‘The Cautionary Tales Of Mark Oliver Everett’ In Full
Listen to Mark Oliver Everett’s eleventh studio album ahead of release.
Ahead of its 21st April release, the new Eels album is streaming in full. It's Mark Oliver Everett's eleventh longplayer, and more than ever before it's the sound of the songwriter trying to make sense of and document his past, present and future.
The album contains a scattered trilogy of sorts, with opener 'Where I'm At' linking up with 'Where I'm From' before closing with 'Where I'm Going'. Trying to neatly sum up a lifetime's worth of experiences is something Eels has tried before, but this might be his most successful attempt.
