Listen: Kill J Remixes Oceaán’s ‘To Lose’
Oceaán’s built a reputation as a remixer supreme, but here he has his own work reinterpreted.

Manchester producer Oceaán bucks the remix trend by spending days, seemingly, on one work. He brings his own vocals into the mix instead of ‘adding a few drops’, and that’s why he’s stood out as a newcomer capable of pushing the boat out. Don’t believe us? Hear his version of Woman’s Hour and Swim Deep for examples.
Now Mr. remix supreme has had his own song reinterpreted by Scandinavian duo Kill J. Punchy synth pop of their kind doesn’t quite show up here; instead Oliver Cean’s ‘To Lose’ is given a mistier, more ghostly glow.
