Listen: Lower Preview New Album With ‘Lost Weight, Perfect Skin’

Danish punks Lower have signed to Matador Records for the release of their new record, ‘Seek Warmer Climes’.

Appropriately - or accidentally - the sleeve for the album seems to show an actual matador on the brink of being charged at by a raging bull. Or it’s just a bloke looking a bit lost on a mound of sand. Regardless, the record comes headed up by ‘Lost Weight, Perfect Skin’, a song that detests pretty much everything and loads its frustration with distinct, post-punk guitars.

Kristian Emdal (Member of Vår), Adrian Toubro, Simon Formann and Anton Rothstein are concerning themselves with ‘personal development’, apparently, with this song being a riposte to attitudes demanding that we look certain ways to fit in with society.

The new album comes out on 16th June.
