Listen: Lxury Remixes Chvrches’ ‘Lies’

While Chvrches are off jet-setting across the world, touring their ‘The Bones Of What You Believe’ debut, London producer Lxury is staying rooted to his home city. It’s a location that suits Andy Smith and his jerky, unorthodox productions. They set the dead of night in empty London streets, when all the hubbub and drama has settled down for what feels like a tiny, split-second.

Andy’s take on ‘Lies’ - Chvrches’ new single and a highlight from their debut - is a little more forthright than that lonely, sentimental situation. It’s excitement defined, with plush pads lining the seams alongside Lauren Mayberry’s vocals.

Lxury’s remix links up to Tourist’s take of the same track. Chvrches’ ‘Lies’ is released on 2nd December.
