Swedish duo Say Lou Lou have some Aussie roots to boot, and they’ve showcased this heritage in the most suitable way possible: By covering their country’s biggest band.
Tame Impala’s ‘Feels Like We Only Go Backwards’ - the standout on Kevin Parker and co’s ‘Lonerism’ - is sapped of its psych and turned into a floating ballad, all introspection at the centre.
‘There is something sweetly familiar and nostalgic, yet still fresh and innovative,’ reads the band’s description of a perfume / Tame Impala.
It’s being given away as a free download.
