Listen: TEETH Stream New Track, ‘Eat Spit’
East London hackers return with a sharp-edged standalone track.

Three years on from their 2011 ‘Whatever’ debut, hapless hackers turned expert synth fiends TEETH have returned. Their ‘Eat Spit’ track looks to be a standalone reminder of their existence, more than anything, but they have been working on a new LP, which presumably is coming out this year.
The new track works as an extension from their debut, sounding ten times more colossal in the process. DFA-stamped, it’s the sound of the London trio invading James Murphy’s studio; maybe even hacking into his mind. A swarm of murky, gnawing atmospherics do their thing in the background behind a chorus of ‘Eat spit / be happy’. Charming.
Listen to the new track below and catch up with DIY’s 2011 interview with TEETH. The new song is a free download.
