Listen: The Dead Weather Unveil ‘Open Up (That’s Enough)’ Single
Alison Mosshart leads the pack in the first of several Third Man single releases.
an incoming series of singles by The Dead Weather, released bit-by-bit until eventually landing with an album in 2015.
The first of these is ‘Open Up (That’s Enough)’, which came out as a 7’ single alongside ‘Rough Diamond’ via Third Man’s Vault.
‘Open Up…’ is brilliantly rough around the edges, with The Kills’ Alison Mosshart leading on vocals. It’s a sinister-spliced return; a ridiculously high standard-setter for whichever singles come next.
