Listen: Thumpers Cover CHVRCHES’ ‘Lungs’
The great Chvrches x Thumpers 2013 tour is documented with one brilliant cover.
Two giddy pop forces combine. What a time to be alive. Thumpers have taken on CHVRCHES’ ‘Lungs’, which is one of precisely 12 amazing songs on the latter’s debut album ‘The Bones Of What You Believe’.
Thumpers, don’t you know, ended up touring with CHVRCHES. Therefore their cover version - which sounds brilliant and even replicates the chorus’ ‘bom-bom-bom’ synth womp - is set to some grainy footage of the Londoners’ hangs on boats and strange looking coastlines. Sometimes stages too.
