Listen: U2 Unveil New Track, ‘Invisible’
Every free download of ‘Invisible’ receives a $1 donation from the Bank of America to (RED).
Last night U2 unveiled a new song - but not an actual single, per se - from their forthcoming 13th studio album.
‘Invisible’ is produced by Danger Mouse (Broken Bells), with the track gaining its first airing at last night’s Superbowl during a promotional advert for Bono’s (RED) charity.
Built on the customary atmospheric anthemia - a staple of U2’s stomping routine - the track chants ‘you don’t see me but you will,’ confidence spilling from all sides.
Invisible is currently available as a free download on iTunes. Each time the track is downloaded, the Bank of America will donate $1 to the (RED) organization, with a limit of $2 million.
