Listen: Young Fathers Stream Debut Album ‘DEAD’ In Full
Big Dada / Anticon release the Edinburgh hip-hop impressionists’ debut next week (3rd Feb).
Early contender for most daring, disarming debut of the year goes to Young Fathers’ ‘DEAD’. After two years of Anticon-released ‘Tapes’, they’ve linked up with Big Dada for the release of their first full-length on 3rd February.
The Edinburgh trio just picked up a 4 star review on DIY, with writer Joe Price calling it ‘primitive and murk-encrusted… ‘Dead’ revels in its own foreboding muck.’
