Liverpool Sound City: Drenge, Royal Blood Play Day Two
Liverpool’s multi-venue new music fest features The Hold Steady on the DIY Stage.
Last night Blood Red Shoes closed out DIY’s Duke Street Garage stage at Liverpool Sound City, finishing off a day that witnessed performances from Circa Waves, Say Lou Lou, Courtney Barnett and Thumpers.
Day two sees our stage topped by The Hold Steady, with thrashing duo Royal Blood and Aussie newcomers The Creases also set to appear.
Elsewhere on the bill, Spring King open up the day with a performance at the East Village Arts Club (19.00). Theo Verney’s also a key name to see on the commencing of day two - he plays the Kazimier at 19.30.
Further on in the night, exciting new names arrive in the form of Wet (Zanzibar, 20.15), Wolf Alice (East Village Arts Club, 22.15) and Solids (Kazimier, 22.30).
For all the names on the DIY Stage head here.
