Lola Young tackles self-sabotage head-on with new single ‘d£aler’
The BRIT-nominated breakout star is set to release her second album in September.

Having recently announced details of her anticipated sophomore record ‘I’m Only Fucking Myself’ (due out on 19th September), Lola Young has now dropped a new track that’s one of her most lyrically vulnerable to date.
Entitled ‘d£aler’, the single sees the South Londoner thrive in contradiction, pairing personal mediations on self-sabotage and doubt with a catchy earworm melody and bright, peppy synths. It follows recent cuts ‘One Thing’ and ‘Not Like That Anymore’ to be the third track lifted from ‘I’m Only Fucking Myself’, which was co-written and produced with Lola’s frequent collaborators Manuka and SOLOMONOPHONIC (Doja Cat, SZA).
Following the runaway success of her platinum hit ‘Messy’ (which appeared on last year’s debut album ‘This Wasn’t Meant For You Anyway’), Lola’s trajectory has been truly skyward: in the past twelve months, she’s supported Billie Eilish, played Coachella, won the 2025 Ivor Novello Rising Star Award, and been nominated for ‘Best Pop Act’ at the latest BRITs. Phew!
