London force Crows announce new 7” single, stream ‘Pray’
Venom-lined track leads the London four-piece’s next move.
Bedlam wasn’t in short supply during DIY’s Hello 2015 showcases last month at London’s Old Blue Last, but it hit a feverish new level when the capital’s Crows took over. Sinister to the extreme, every jagged sleight of hand felt like a command, each foreboding, monstrous riff a call and response.
The London four-piece have announced details of their new 7” single - ‘Pray’ b/w ‘Crawling’ is out 30th March on Brace Yourself Records, with the former streaming below.
Replicating the controlled chaos of their live shows isn’t an easy feat, but ‘Pray’ goes a long way - talk of “bloodshot eyes” being able to “hypnotise” is replicated on record. Crows truly announce themselves as something special, here - not just an everyday force, they’re ready to take the next step.
Pre-order the 7” single here, limited to 500 copies.
Crows play the following dates:
FEBRUARY
24 London, The Boogaloo (w/ Wolf Alice)
25 Manchester, Gullivers (w/ The Voyeurs)
26 Glasgow, Broadcast (w/ The Voyeurs)
28 Bedford, Esquires (w/ The Voyeurs)
