Lucy Dacus unveils star-studded video for new single ‘Best Guess’
The self-directed visualiser features Naomi McPherson, Cara Delevigne, Towa Bird, and more “hot mascs”.
Lucy Dacus has upped the ante with the video for her latest single ‘Best Guess’, which sees a whole host of familiar faces - including MUNA’s Naomi McPherson, model and actor Cara Delevigne, British indie rocker Towa Bird, and American actor and musician ER Fightmaster - star in Dacus’ sapphic version of a ’90s Calvin Klein ad.
Having been gathered together by Dacus herself via a social media callout (for “hot mascs”, obvs), the video’s cast joyously represents ‘Best Guess” queer-lensed romance, exploring the tenderness and vulnerability that comes with getting to know someone.
The track follows ‘Ankles’ and ‘Limerence’ to be the third single lifted from Dacus’ upcoming solo album ‘Forever Is A Feeling’ (due out on 28th March via Geffen Records/Polydor Label Group), and also arrives alongside the news that she’ll be over in the UK and Europe this Summer for a set of just-announced live shows.
Tickets for all UK/EU dates go on sale at 10am local time on Friday 21st February; in the meantime, you can watch the video for ‘Best Guess’ in all its glory here:
