Festivals:
Lucy Rose, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and more to play Glastonbury’s Field of Avalon
Birdy, Lissie, Jesca Hoop and loads more have also been announced for the stage.
After revealing the pretty sweet line-up for their Block9 area earlier in the week, Glastonbury have unveiled who’ll be taking to the
stage in the Field Of Avalon.
Lucy Rose will be bringing tunes from her upcoming third
album ‘Something’s Changing’ to the field, where she’ll be joined by pop sensation
Sophie Ellis-Bextor. If you needed even more of a retro-pop fix then they’ve
only gone and got Busted to play as well. Singer-songwriters Birdy, Lissie and
Jesca Hoop will also be on the bill, while folk troubadour Kathryn Williams is
headed to Avalon too.
Brass-funk is coming at you from the likes of the Hackney
Collier Band and Hot 8 Brass Band, while Scouting For Girls, Skinny Liter, Will
Varley, The Eskies are also on the bill. And, um, is that Kiefer Sutherland we
spy on the list? We think it is, you know…
