M. Ward & Frank Ocean Confirmed For Bestival
Azealia Banks has also been confirmed to appear at the festival, despite the recent cancellation of all other festival appearances.
M. Ward and Frank Ocean have been added to this year’s Bestival line-up.
Festival organiser Rob de Bank has given the following insight into why they’re the perfect inclusions on the already massive bill: “With the Friday headliner coming in a few weeks I thought we’d ramp up the excitement a bit more for Besti-goers with the additions of Frank Ocean and M Ward. Two totally different artists from across the Atlantic, Frank is one of the most requested acts on our messageboards and he’s such an incredible performer - like a young Prince! M Ward is a folk and indie legend already and we’re very excited to welcome him for the first time!”
They will join the likes of Stevie Wonder, The xx, New Order and Sigur Ros, who have already been confirmed to appear at this year’s event.
It has also been confirmed that Azealia Banks will be appearing, despite the recent cancellation of all her other festival commitments.
Other acts include Two Door Cinema Club, Soulwax, Nero, Emeli Sande, Warpaint, De La Soul, Major Lazer, Sister Sledge, Innter City, Gary Numan, Michael Kiwnauka, Sub Focus, DOOM, Rizzle Kicks, Cuban Brothers, Buraka Son Sistema, Earth Wind & Fire, Bellowhead, Little Dragon, Gold Panda, Lianne La Havas, Adam Ant, Delilah, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Chas & Dave, Dub Pistols, Ane Brun, Jeff Lewis, Charlie XCX, Field Music, Frankie Rose, Milagres, Liz Green, 2:54, Gabrielle Aplin, Gecko and King Krule.
There’ll also be DJ sets from Four Tet, Caribou, 2 Many DJs, Annie Mac, The 2 Bears, DJ Yoda & more.
Bestival takes place from September 6th - 9th at Robin Hill Park on the Isle of Wight. More information, including the full line up so far, is available at bestival.net.
