Mac DeMarco brings the power chords to new song, penned for Field Day

Mac DeMarco has uploaded a spoof metal track in celebration of this year’s Field Day festival, taking place 6th-7th June at London’s Victoria Park.

The Canadian makes an appearance on 7th June, where he’s joined by the likes of Ride and Patti Smith (playing ‘Horses’ in full).

Mac’s “Message For Field Day” is all about the power chords - it’s up there with Dolly Parton’s “mud, mud mud” Glasto song, actually.
