mary in the junkyard drop new album preview ‘Candelabra’
The trio are set to mark their summer LP release with an intimate instore tour, too.

London art-rockers mary in the junkyard have continued to quietly build anticipation for their forthcoming debut album ‘Role Model Hermit’ (arriving on 3rd July via AMF Records) with new track ‘Candelabra’ - a gentle finger-picked offering that acts as a beautiful epitome of youthful anguish.
Following in the footsteps of lead single ‘Crash Landing’, ‘Candelabra’ strips away the layered dynamism of its predecessor to spotlight frontwoman Clari Freeman-Taylor’s haunting vocals, as she inhabits the consciousness of her 17 year-old self. “‘Candelabra’ was written many years ago - it was one of my first sad songs,” she has explained, noting that “it has got all of my teenage angst written into it”.
