Master Peace’s new track ‘There’s No More Underground’ is a rallying call for supporting grassroots venues
Rather than being distributed via normal streaming platforms, the single is available exclusively on Bandcamp.

Master Peace is back with ‘There’s No More Underground’ - a blistering indie sleaze-influenced cut that highlights the plight of grassroots venues and musical subcultures in the face of industry neglect and the cost of living crisis.
The frustration-fuelled single acts as a follow-up to the Ivor Novello winner’s acclaimed debut album ‘How To Make A Master Peace’ and last year’s subsequent EP ‘How To Make A(nuva) Master Peace’, and is set to appear on Peace’s next project (which is currently slated for release later this year).
Master Peace is no stranger to speaking up about industry-wide issues (just check out the interview below) and ‘There’s No More Underground’ only continues this trend; it can’t be found on normal digital streaming platforms like YouTube or Spotify, but is instead available exclusively via Bandcamp, where fans can download it for free.
Speaking about the track and its rollout, Peace has commented: “you might be wondering why I’ve chosen to release music this way, especially after a long time of not releasing music. ‘There’s No More Underground’ is about how normal people like us have been pushed and priced out of doing anything… so I thought I wanted to release it in a way that even if you didn’t have streaming or internet or whatever, you could download it and keep it and listen to it, no matter what.
“To everyone who has been on this journey with me, spending your hard earned doe on gigs and tickets and travel and everything… this one’s for you, cos the underground venues, artists and music would be dead without you. It’s very important that we support grassroots venues, keep the ones keeping the culture alive afloat and just have some fucking funnnnn.”
