Master Peace channels dance-punk on new single ‘Shake Me Down’
The Ivor Novello Rising Star winner has shared his second new track in a month.

Master Peace has already had a pretty notable summer (after taking to the Glastonbury stage with both Franz Ferdinand and AJ Tracey), and it’s only getting bigger: he’s now shared his second new single in a month, and it’s a real banger.
Produced by Dan Carey, ‘Shake Me Down’ is a scintillating foray into the kind of groove-led dance-punk that LCD Soundsystem made their name on. It’s also the second track to come from his collaboration with the South London producer, after ‘Harley’ was released last month. Both tracks are set to be given an official release on 7th August as part of Speedy Wunderground’s Speedy Single Series - you can pre-order the 7” here.
These new tracks double as Master Peace’s first new material since the release of his debut album ‘How To Make A Master Peace’ last April, its subsequent EP ‘How To Make A(nuva) Master Peace’, and his Ivor Novello Rising Star win last summer.
