Mastodon Announce Record Store Day Offerings
Mastodon and Feist, sitting in a tree… making vinyls for Record Store Day.

Mastodon have revealed plans to release not one, but two special works for this year’s Record Store Day.
The first release will be a baby pink 7’ featuring a cover of The Flaming Lips’ ‘A Spoonful Weighs A Ton’, whilst the second will be that infamous Feist split, that was allegedly thought of after the two acts appeared on Later… With Jools Holland last year.
That second 7’ will feature the metallers taking on Feist’s ‘A Commotion’, whilst she will take over ‘The Hunter’ single ‘Black Tongue’.
Both vinyls will be released on Record Store Day 2012, which takes place on the 21st April.
