Mastodon have shared new track ‘Toe To Toes’

Metal legends Mastodon have been pretty busy lately. They’ve released their latest album ‘Emperor of Sand’, appeared on ‘Game of Thrones’ and just last week they got very weird indeed in the video for ‘Steambreather’.

Now, they’ve announced plans to release a brand new EP, ‘Cold Dark Place’, on 22nd September, featuring four previously unreleased tracks. Shedding a bit of light on what to expect, they’ve shared ‘Toe To Toes’ from it. It was originally a tune that the band developed during the sessions for ‘Emperor of Sand’.

Mastodon announced in June that they’d be heading out on a new UK tour in December. They’ll be kicking the round of dates off in Cardiff before heading to Wolverhampton, Nottingham, Newcastle, Glasgow and Manchester. The run will round off at London’s Brixton Academy on 10th December. Tickets are on sale now.
