Maximo Park Reveal New Single, Live Shows

The band will hit the road for three shows this June.

Maximo Park have revealed their new single ‘Hips And Lips’.

The track, taken from new album ‘The National Health’, got it’s first play tonight (24th April) via Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show.

The LP is set for release on June 11th. Speaking about the record, frontman Paul Smith says: ‘We’re in a global recession and everyone is being bombarded with bouncy, happy music. The nation is out of control and the record is about taking back control, and being a force for change in your own life. It can’t speak for everybody but it has its eyes and ears all around us… that’s always been a Maximo Park thing: look at yourself.’
