Menace Beach cover Guided By Voices’ ‘A Salty Salute’
Hear the Leeds band take on a track from way back when (1995, actually).
Everyone’s welcome in the world of Menace Beach, a Leeds based led by Ryan and Liza, with other members ranging from Hookworms’ MJ to Sky Larkin’s Nestor Matthews. This summer they’re putting out a new single, ‘Tennis Court’ and ‘Lowtalkin’’, and they’ve just unveiled an additional gem in the form of a new Guided By Voices cover.
An extension from the new single - plus the ‘Lowtalker’ EP from earlier this year, ‘A Salty Salute’ sees them taking on the original from 1995 album ‘Alien Lanes’. Chugging bass and dreamy guitar lines do the rest of the (low) talking.
‘Tennis Court’/‘Lowtalkin’’ is out 1st September on Memphis Industries.
