Merchandise Announce New Album, ‘After The End’

Tampa, Florida band lead with the superb ‘Little Killer’.

Tampa, Florida band Merchandise have announced the details of their new album - and first on 4AD - ‘After The End’.

The record’s being led by a new track, ‘Little Killer’, which arrived alongside a video directed by the band’s frontman Carson Cox.

This is the group’s first release since 2013’s ‘Totale Nite’, which swiftly followed 2012 album ‘Children of Desire’. In between these releases, Merchandise recently combined with Destruction Unit and Milk Music for a split Record Store Day 12”, with ‘No You And Me’ going the whole-hog in giving the group a genuine cause for big, ear-splitting punk ballads.

A video for ‘Little Killer’ takes things back a few decades, green-screening the group in a visually alarming clip that puts a lipsticked Carson Cox at the very centre.

‘After The End’ is the band’s first record with new members Chris Horn (guitar / keys / sax) and Elsner Nino (drums). It’s released on 25th August via 4AD. The band next play the UK on 9th June at London’s Islington Academy Hall.

The tracklisting reads:

‘After The End’:

1. Corridor
2. Enemy
3. True Monument
4. Green Lady
5. Life Outside The Mirror
6. Telephone
7. Little Killer
8. Looking Glass Waltz
9. After The End
10. Exile And Eg
