Merchandise crash and burn in new ‘Enemy’ video
Florida band’s new LP ‘After the End’ is out in August.
Merchandise’s Carson Cox pits himself in deadly situations for his band’s new ‘Enemy’ video. Choked, bled to death, or simply made to sweat it out at a launderette, it’s a striking new clip that meets up with a forthcoming album on 4AD, ‘After the End’.
Tim Saccenti directed the video, and claims to be influenced by Stan Brakhage, Kenneth Anger and William Eggleston. It begins with Carson running blindfolded down an empty room, and ends with the five-piece draped in military gear, jamming out a highlight from the new LP.
