Merchandise unveil new track ‘Green Lady’, announce UK tour

The five-piece are gearing up to release their new album ‘After The End’ later this month.

It’s not long now until Merchandise reveal their brand new album to the world, but there’s still time for some surprises. Now, the five-piece have revealed the latest track to be taken from ‘After The End’, and it comes in the form of ‘Green Lady’.

A brooding combination of accentuated percussion and all-encompassing synths, ‘Green Lady’ offers them another step closer towards their self-declared distorted pop goal with its hazy, intoxicating melodies.

It’s taken from their forthcoming album ‘After The End’ which is due for release on 25th August through 4AD, following up their 2013 effort ‘Totale Nite’.

The band have also got some other plans up their collective sleeve: they’ll be returning to the UK for their first full tour in over a year. Beginning proceedings in the capital this November, they’ll be making nine stops around the country as part of an extensive run around Europe. London trio Shopping are also set to support at all of their UK dates, which look like this:

NOVEMBER
18 The Laundry, London
20 Start The Bus, Bristol
21 The Hare & Hounds, Birmingham
22 Sound Control, Manchester
23 Brudenell Social Club, Leeds
24 Stereo, Glasgow
25 The Cluny, Newcastle
26 Kazimier, Liverpool
27 Coalition, Brighton
