Metz share mini-documentary ‘Making Strange Peace’
The short film takes the viewer inside Chicago’s Electrical Audio studio during the making of the album.

It’s been a couple of weeks now since Metz released their more intense, brutal and melodic new album ‘Strange Peace’.
But have you ever wanted to know about the process of making their latest album? Well, now you can. In mini-documentary ‘Making Strange Peace’, the Toronto punks take the audience into the Electrical Audio studio in Chicago, where they recorded the record alongside engineer Steve Albini.
Metz are also set to tour the UK with support from Leeds punks Drahla. Tickets are on sale now.
We recently sent the band’s Hayden Menzies Back To The Drawing Board to give us some visual representations of ‘Strange Peace’. See the (frankly ace) results here.
