METZ unveil new video for ‘The Swimmer’
The trio’s new clip - as directed by Michael LeBlanc and Scott Cudmore - is a bit unsettling to say the least.

METZ’s new album ‘II’ may officially be out in the open, but now, the Canadian trio have offered up the official video treatment to its cut ‘The Swimmer’.
In the latest video to come from the band, the grit-laden offering soundtracks a jittery string of scenes which eventually cumulate in a grown man being baptised in a bathtub. Unsurprisingly, the clip’s a bit on the unsettling side, emphasised even more so by the stop-start quivering of each cut.
The video comes directed by Michael LeBlanc and Scott Cudmore and you can watch it below. ‘The Swimmer’ gets taken from METZ’s sophomore album, ‘II’, which is out via Sup Pop now.
The band will also be returning to the UK later this year, when they play London’s Underworld on 16th June.
