Miles Kane Promises Second Album Will Happen For The Last Shadow Puppets

Miles Kane has confirmed that himself and Arctic Monkeys front man Alex Turner will be working on a second album from their project The Last Shadow Puppets.

Talking to Noise11.com, Kane said: ‘There will be [another record] when the time is right. We’ll both know together when it’s right. We’re both enjoying our own things, but we’re still working together and when the time is right we’ll go and do that again.’

In terms of a time scale, the singer of The Colour Of The Trap replied: ‘Maybe the end of this year, maybe next year.’

Arctic Monkeys are currently on a tour of Australia, and will be releasing a new single later this month. Taken from their latest album ‘Suck It And See’, ‘Black Treacle’ will come out through Domino on 23rd January, and will be available digitally and on 7’ vinyl.

Miles Kane is also currently out supporting on their Australian run, but will embark upon several UK dates upon his return.
