Mini Mansions thrash into the spotlight with ‘Freak Out’ single

DIY’s got the first play of the LA trio’s new effort, ahead of a UK tour with Royal Blood.

2015 belongs to Mini Mansions. Ahead of their new album ‘The Great Pretenders’, the LA trio are already confirmed for some of the biggest UK dates of their career (supporting the unstoppable Royal Blood) and just a couple of weeks back, some bloke called Alex Turner turned up to one of their shows and joined them on-stage at London’s Lexington.

Whether it’s a case of the stars aligning or this group simply making a big step up, the new LP - out 23rd March - looks like being one of the year’s biggest head-turners.

They’re paving the way with ‘Freakout’, a chaotic, no-holds-barred new single out 16th March. Here, Zach Dawes, current QOTSA bassist Michael Shuman and vocalist Tyler Parkford storm onwards with their first foot forward. DIY’s got the first play of ‘Freakout’, below.
