Mitch Rowland announces new album 'Whistling Pie'

GRAMMY-winning songwriter and Harry Styles collaborator Mitch Rowland has announced plans to release his second album ‘Whistling Pie’ later this year. He’ll share the follow-up to his 2023 debut ‘Come June’ on 12th September, when it gets released via Erskine Records/Giant Music.

Written after the singer relocated to the English countryside with his family, the albums sees Rowland attempt to - according to a press release - “capture life’s little moments before they escape their grasp”. “Everyone has their whole life to make their first record,” he has said of the record. “While I was making my second, it felt like time was slipping away.” ‘Whistling Pie’ also saw Mitch once again work with producer Rob Schnapf (who produced and mixed his previous record) but this time, they recorded at the legendary Rockfield Studios in Monmouth.

Alongside news of his new full-length - which is set to be thirteen tracks in length - Mitch has also shared the album’s lead single, ‘Really Ready’, a track which first came to life in 2017 but has taken until now to complete.
