MØ returns with new single ‘Who Said’
After celebrating the tenth anniversary of her debut album earlier year, the Danish star has now offered up brand new music.

Danish pop icon MØ is back, and she’s brought a brand new banger with her. The singer, who celebrated the tenth anniversary of her debut album ‘No Mythologies To Follow’ earlier this year, is now ushering in her next chapter with new single ‘Who Said’.
Built from a demo first written all the way back in 2015, the track truly came to life when the singer was travelling between her home in Copenhagen and Los Angeles, where she worked with producer Nick Sylvester (LCD Soundsystem, Channel Tres, The Dare). “I wrote the first demo for this song in 2015 on a Ronni Vindahl instrumental loop,” MØ explains, of the track. “I always loved the chorus, but it wasn’t until I started working with Nick last year that it began to take real shape. We brought in Clementine Douglas to write with us, and together we transformed the demo into the song you hear today.”
Built around an addictive electronic loop and packing an insatiably catchy chorus, the song is - as MØ shares - “about my fear of commitment and wanting to hold onto my non-committal nature. By the end, I come to terms with the reality that I can’t ignore change. It’s about confronting the truth and letting go of the ‘delulu’ mindset.”
