Morrissey cancels more European shows
Dates in Switzerland and Holland are the latest to be cancelled.
Morrissey has cancelled three shows in the final week of his current European tour, with more being rescheduled.
The announcement follows a slew of cancelled dates on Morrissey’s tour to promote his 2014 album ‘World Peace Is None Of Your Business’.
The star was set to play Lausanne, Switzerland’s Les Docks venue on 13th December before playing two Dutch shows at De Oosterpoort in Gronigen and 013 in Tilburg on the 15th and 16th of the month respectively, but all three shows have now been postponed “until 2015”.
Shows in Athens and Istanbul have also been affected, with rescheduled dates being announced. Morrissey is said to have missed his flight from London to Athens, affecting the first show, while “logistical problems” affected the Istanbul date.
Morrissey recently headlined London’s O2 Arena as part of the tour, taking time to take a dig at the Royal Family and his former record label Harvest.
The remaining dates on Morrissey’s European tour are below.
DECEMBER
10 Belgrade, Belexpocentar
12 Zagreb, The Zagreb Fair
15 Athens, Tae Kwon Do Arena
17 Istanbul, Volkswagen Arena
