After recently completing a six-date UK tour, then cancelling an appearance on Alan Carr’s Chatty Man, Morrissey has announced details of a US tour according to fansite True To You.

The seventeen-date run starts in New Orleans on June 11th and finishes in San Jose on July 25th. Blondie will support Morrissey on that final date while Amanda Palmer will support him at his show at Madison Square Gardens on June 27th. The full list of dates are as follows.

Last time Morrissey ventured out on a US tour, it was cancelled due to him contracting a respiratory infection, and it led to some heated online exchanges between camp Morrissey and Kristeen Young, his support act, who he claims gave him the infection. Let’s hope Blondie’s got a tissue.
